Steven & Kelli, who you probably saw on the blog not too long ago, have tied the knot!!!! Debbie and I had a blast working with these and the bridal party. The day went very smooth, no one was late, they saw each other before hand giving us plenty of time to head downtown with them for a while to get some shots and without having anyone having to wait on us. For anyone considering seeing each before hand all I can say is “DO IT!” : ) We’ll shoot either way, but for the bridal party and the guests it’s much more of a time saver and gives you more time to soak in the magic of the day. Anyone, enough of my opinions and blabbering… onto the shots! These are just a select few, there were a ton I could put on here but I opted to control myself this time. Ha!
Here’s our “bride to be” Kelli.
I love the natural light in this one. (*Side note from your humble Photographer, places with a lot of light = VERY happy Jim.*)
Steven & Kelli about to see each other for the first time. Steven is a pretty cool and laid back guy, but I’m pretty sure I can see a little bit of “nerves” showing in his face. It’s O.K., you look much more calm than I did when Debbie and I first saw each other. ; ) I’ll have to show you that one.
She’s getting closer!
Steven admiring his beautiful bride for the first time. We love shooting these, emotion, anticipation, smiles, sometimes tears… don’t worry we shoot from a distance so we’re not right in your face. Ha!
Steven & the guys!
Kelli & the ladies!
Every single time I see this photo I still smile and laugh. When we were shooting this I was focusing on Steven and I here Kelli say “What do I do with THESE?” Keep in mind I didn’t know what she was referring to… more of an inside joke. ; )
O.K., now for the “rock shots”, I normally don’t post more than one however I like each of these for different reasons. Let me know what you think. Leave a comment, tell me your opinion… let’s vote on it. : )
Their married!!! Another cool bubble shot from Deb!
O.K., so I love old cars… I could almost do a whole session just incorporating them with this vehicle… but it was a wedding and not a M.P. street session. : )
We left the church, made a quick “shot stop” at a local bar on the way to the reception. I think we caught Kelli calling everyone to tell them to hurry up! : )
Here’s to you two!
We did run into a little trouble at one point with the car not wanting to fire right up, but it’s a Ford… so you know it ended up starting for us. ; ) However this didn’t stop Steven from yelling at his driver for the afternoon.
Kelli was yelling at him too, but she looks much nicer about it. 🙂
Alright, we have proof that Kelli started it. I think this was a carry over from the night before at The Melting Pot where some the chocolate fondue founds it’s way onto both of their faces. : )
Their first dance. Yes we have some other shots too, but really this one is awesome so I had to post this one. : )
The PARTY begins.
Steven & Kelli, thank you so much for choosing us to capture the fun and memories of your special day. We had a great time, which we usually do, but when we “gel” with a couple it makes the whole do soooooo much better. You two ROCK! -Jim & Debbie
