Gary & Melissa, say hello to everyone! : ) We had a lot of fun with these two. We shot their E-Session on the campus of Purdue University, which was fitting because they also got married right on campus as well. : ) Anyway, we all know that you are here for the photos… so on we go!

So we hit the campus for a while and it was HOT, just like every single weekend this summer. When I saw all of these kids with the huge squirt guns… well, I had an idea. : ) I would like to mention that no grooms or groomsmen were injured during this photograph. : )

Matt & Christina, Chicago Engagement SessionC

Meet Matt & Christina!!! We had a great time with them in Chicago. We really got a chance to get to know them, we sat down had a drink, went a shot, sat down for some dinner and then shot some more. We had a blast and can’t wait for E-Session # two with you both!!! : ) Onto the shots we go!

I was really feeling the vintage look with some of these shots. Sometimes I just feel like a shot would be a cool with a little bit of twist… not too worry, I still do our standard look as well. : )

It’s been noted before that I have a terrible fear of heights… well this one was shot on the HUGE ferris wheel at Navy Pier. I was fine as long as I was shooting, but as soon as I stopped I was thinking “are we back down yet”? LOL! It was still fun, awesome seeing the skyline from up there.

Thank you both again so much and we are sorry that you got that parking ticket Matt. We’ll see you again this fall and can’t wait!

Bryan & Amanda, Anniversary Session

It’s hard to believe that it’s been just a little over a year since we captured the wedding day of Bryan & Amanda!!! Also known around the Meyer house as the Premier Rock the Dress couple!!! : ) We had a great time catching up with these two and I think we all lost 10 lbs during this session… one of those hot, muggy, sticky Indiana summer days. They pulled through in typical Shotts fashion and we were able to have a lot of fun and get some cool shots in the process. : ) Anyone, enough of my jabber… here’s a few shots from that afternoon!

Say hi to Zuess! He joined us for the session and his making his blog debut!

Long time coming!!! Meet Eric & Malorie!! We had a lot of fun with these two, you may recognize them from our blog post of their E-Session not too long ago too! : )

Sorry Eric, I had too! Ha! We had the same sense of humor so there was a lot of laughing going on that day! Oh and some silliness in between shots. I’m pretty sure Debbie is to blame for this one.

The sky was awesome that day!

Eric & Carrie, Indianapolis Wedding

Hello again! Everyone this is Eric & Carrie, E&C this is everyone! : ) We had a great time with these two and they had a beautiful wedding at the Omni Severin in downtown Indianapolis. So… let’s get to the photos shall we? : )

O.K., so we’ve had a lucky streak of couples seeing each other before the ceremony. I say lucky because we always catch some great emotions. I won’t name names, but we’ve seen the guys tear up, have a non-stop smile or just be completely stunned when they see their brides for the first time. This time was no exception. : )

We still just LOVE this shot!! : )

Eric & Carrie set aside plenty of time to go have some fun downtown on the circle with their wedding party. : )

Thank you both again soooo much, we had a great time working with you both!!! We hope to see you again soon! : )

Ian & Kristina, Greenfield, Indiana Wedding

Hey everyone, we are slowly getting caught up on our blog posts as you can see! : ) Say hi to Ian & Kristina!!!!! They rocked their wedding and really rocked their reception in Greenfield, IN. Debbie and I were reminded of our reception while shooting this one. A lot of tears, laughs and celebrating went on this day! : )

We love when our couples see each other first. Capturing these special private moments are so much fun.

Say hi to Chris and Christina! They had their ceremony at St. Elizabeth Seton in Carme, IN. While this is one of the more strict churches we’ve shot in, Roger (from SEAS) is a pleasure to work with and made sure we had everything we needed. Let’s get onto the photos shall we?! : )
